West Hollywood Artwalk

As part of West Hollywood’s Avenues of Art & Design Artwalk, Decorative Carpets, Inc. showcased “art rugs” designed by local artists and community youth. Vibrant paintings from artist Ken Esteves and photo-realistic charcoal sketches from artist Dan Pyle were transformed into smaller-scaled area rugs and were featured for the evening. Adding to the event’s festivities were colorfully rich art rugs designed by the young artists from the Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) Youth Program, a non profit organization providing inner city youth with extraordinary programs in the arts, academics, and athletics. Decorative Carpets and HOLA collaborated on a project, “Young Artists in Design,” to transform the youth’s artwork into a design for the floor.
