HAND WEAVING
Decorative’s weavers use traditional looms to create unique flatweave effects. The looms are set with solid-color vertical yarns (known as warps). A horizontal yarn (known as weft) is passed over and under the warps to form patterns. This process is continued until the entire rug is complete. Knots are often used to create a firmer handweave, yielding a stronger, more durable rug.

Decorative offers its hand-woven rugs in widths up to 18 feet. Since our company specializes in custom options, any color can be used in the creation of a hand-tufted or handwoven product.
